Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Programs Director the jobholder will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Marketing and Business development functions of the Institute.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
 Plan, engage, execute a comprehensive, aggressive and proactive marketing strategy that advances the Institute’s mission and goals.
 Raise the visibility of the Institute by carrying out effective marketing and communication plan in order to;
o Attract new students to the institute
o Publicize the unique disposition and offering of the Institute
o Promote the profile of the school as a whole to external audiences

 Develop a Marketing, Recruitment & Enrolment and Retention Plan that helps achieve optimal enrolment for the school and develop annual increment goals
 Develop and Implement strategies for social media and web- based platforms geared towards recruitment, retention, image building, affinity and awareness.
 Establish priorities for marketing assignments, monitor progress, review work products and ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
 Analyze and interpret industry data and information, AFTTTI products and make appropriate recommendations for the Institute based on findings

 Create and produce marketing material (brochures, posters, flyers etc.) for the Institute’s programs, liaising with the relevant academic staff.
 Manage the full scope of activities related to the development and dissemination of a variety of marketing and communication tactics and materials which includes concepts development and visual appearances for; a college magazine and other publications, videos, events, promotional partnerships, brochures and other printed collateral, print, TV, radio, and outdoor advertisements, Internet marketing, direct mailings, talking points, scripts, image development and design, research, and/or other applicable items.
 Establish standards to protect the Institutes brand and oversee implementation of brands creative elements on Institute’s mass communications.
 Identifying, establishing and nurturing partnerships with other industry players for mutual benefit
 Updating of schools Facebook and Twitter accounts the information about the College on external websites
 Liaising and providing information to the media and arranging interviews with members of staff and or students as necessary
 Maintaining a photo library and arranging external photo shoots and filming for marketing, brand-building purposes
 Prepare periodic reports on the function for decision making by
management
Qualifications &  Experience
 Degree in Marketing or a Business related field.
 At least 3 years’ experience in Media, communication, marketing or event management
 Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development
 Excellent Business development, oral and communicatio skills.
 Should be conversant with all digital media marketing platforms and event management.
 Should have prior experience working with young adults
 Must have good interpersonal skills
